Meir Levertov was born the 2nd day of Hanukah 5782. When I heard Levi and Menucha had a boy, I began the quilt right away. I picked blue and yellow prints fabrics. The technique I used was new to me.: making half square triangles 8 at a time. I quilted it both with a walking foot and also freehand. I gifted Meir the quilt 7 weeks after he was born.
