The name of the quilt is Pretty in Pink, but it is obviously not pink. I chose some of my favorite fabrics that I have been saving forever. My friend Cordelia designed the flowers for me and quilted it on the long-arm at Honey Bee. It was used for the first time when my youngest came home for the holiday weekend.
This is an interactive quilt that I made for my granddaughter. It was a panel that I cut out , quilted and sewed Velcro on the back of each piece. Then I sewed Velcro to the panel so the days, dates, months, weather and season squares would stick.
She loves it. I need to get her mother to hang it up for her and she has asked for a blue skies weather patch. I guess sunny wasn’t enough.
