My friend Linda returned from her new home in Maine to visit this week. I took her over to Sunshine Community Gardens where she and I were co-coordinators on the Micah 6 food bank garden before she moved. She oohed and aahed at the newly planted fall gardens. In Maine the growing season is over.
The photos are in order, sweet potatoes almost ready to harvest, broccoli plants, mustard greens, and arugula. I also have newly planted parsley, cilantro, rutabaga, turnips, carrots, chard, beets, kale, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, lettuce and peas. Since it was 95 yesterday I have to make sure to water daily.
